Who is responsible

the operator named in the imprint, trading as AllTruckData, is the data controller. Contact: corrections@alltruckdata.com.

When you visit a page

Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details; we do not receive or keep them in any form that identifies you. Cloudflare acts as our processor. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

Visit statistics. We count visits with Plausible Analytics, which uses no cookies and stores no personal data: it counts page views, referrers, browser type and country from a daily-changing hash that cannot identify you and is discarded. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in knowing which pages are used.

Cookies. None. No cookie is set by this site, so there is no cookie banner. Search runs in your browser; what you type is not sent to us.

When you report an error

The form on corrections asks for the page and figure, what it should say, your source, your email address and, if you like, your name. We use them only to check the report and reply to you. Lawful basis: your consent, given when you send the form; you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we will delete your report.

  • The report is stored in Cloudflare D1 (Cloudflare as processor) until we collect it into our review desk, then deleted there.
  • Your email address and name are deleted 90 days after we close your report. The report itself (without them) is kept as the record of why a figure changed.
  • We never add you to a mailing list, and we never share your details with anyone.

Where the data goes

Cloudflare and Plausible may process data outside the United Kingdom and European Economic Area; Cloudflare relies on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and Plausible stores its data in the EU.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, object to its use, or ask for a copy. Email corrections@alltruckdata.com; we answer within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or, in the EU, to your national data protection authority.
