What the figures are

Every figure comes from a named official source: declarations manufacturers made to the European Union and records in national vehicle registers. Declared fuel consumption is a simulation on a standard route and payload; it compares vehicles with each other and is not what a particular lorry will use. Registered dimensions and weights describe the vehicles registered under a model and vary between them.

Check before you rely on a figure for a purchase, a route, a bridge, a weight limit or anything safety-related. Confirm it against the vehicle’s own documents and plates. We take care to publish only what our sources state, but we cannot guarantee a source is free of errors, and we are not responsible for decisions made on the figures.

Reusing our data

Our database — the pages, groupings and figures as we have reconciled them — is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 licence. You may reuse it if you credit AllTruckData with a link and share what you make on the same terms. The underlying sources carry their own licences, listed on attribution; their credits must be kept too.

The drawings are generated by us and are licensed on the same terms. Manufacturer names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify vehicles; AllTruckData is not affiliated with any manufacturer.

Errors

If a figure is wrong, tell us with your source. We check it and reply.

Liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude liability for loss arising from use of the site or its figures. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction, unless the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim there. Questions: corrections@alltruckdata.com.
